Job Title: Facilities Manager
Location: Laoag City, Ilocos Norte
About the Role:
A Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the overall management of a facility, and ensures that the facility operates efficiently and effectively, while providing a safe and comfortable environment for employees, tenants, and visitors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance management: Planning and overseeing maintenance activities, including regular inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment and systems to ensure smooth operations of the facility.
- Budget management: Preparing and managing budgets to ensure that expenses are kept within the facility's financial constraints.
- Health and safety: Ensuring that the facility meets all relevant health and safety regulations and standards. Also, taking appropriate measures to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
- Facility planning: Developing long-term strategies for the facility, including space planning, occupancy planning, and sustainability initiatives.
- Vendor management: Engaging and supervising vendors and contractors for various facility services such as cleaning, landscaping, security, and maintenance services.
- Communication and coordination: Coordinating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the facility.
- Staff management: Overseeing the work of other facility staff, such as maintenance technicians, administrative staff, and security personnel.
- Record keeping: Keeping accurate records of facility operations, including maintenance and safety records, inventory, and other relevant documents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management, with a proven track record of success
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of safety and security protocols and procedures
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
